  The birthplace of Soen Nagatani

 Nagatani Soen developed and spread the manufacturing method of Sencha tea which still influences modern tea. This is a facility built in 1960 at the site of his residence to preserve the tea manufacturing utensils and so on. Soen is an ancestor of the founder who started Nagatanien. He was enshrined as Chaso Myojin in the adjacent shrine.
